  • Deliver a minimal repair recommendation or patch, a red/green test when feasible, and a prioritized next-action report.

SAFE INPUTS REQUIRED

  • A precise expected-versus-actual behavior statement for one failure path.
  • A reproducible request, workflow trigger, or minimal repository/test fixture with runtime and dependency versions.
  • Sanitized error output, relevant logs, and configuration shape with all secrets removed.
  • Instructions for running the affected component in a safe local, test, or buyer-authorized non-production environment.

ACCEPTANCE EVIDENCE

  • The failure path and its execution context are unambiguous.
  • The original failure is captured without inventing a reproduction.
  • The diagnosis is tied to observed evidence.
  • A proposed repair is tested when the environment permits it.
  • No unauthorized production change occurs.
BOUNDARIES

NOT INCLUDED

  • Production deployment, production writes, emergency on-call operation, live credential handling, hosting, or ongoing support.
  • Whole-system redesign, multiple unrelated failures, broad security audit, data recovery, or third-party vendor remediation.
  • Guaranteed root-cause discovery or repair when the failure cannot be reproduced from the authorized inputs.
  • Unauthorized access, control circumvention, malware, destructive testing, or activity outside buyer-owned or buyer-authorized systems.

EVIDENCE LIMITS

  • A red/green test proves only the tested path in the recorded environment; it does not establish production-wide correctness or reliability.
  • If reproduction is blocked, the valid deliverable is a documented evidence gap and the smallest next test—not a fabricated root cause.
  • Third-party service behavior, undocumented rate limits, changing APIs, and production-only conditions remain unverified unless directly evidenced within the authorized scope.
  • A public listing, invoice, or purchase intent is not a sale; only independently verified cleared payment establishes authorization to start.
